Positive: Season 2 of My GF Is An Alien has a higher production value than Season 1. Heavy Vfx Work Is Used To Showcase The Entire Drama, Which Actually Looks Very Impressive.
The chemistry between the actors in Season 2 is the major highlight. They will make you laugh, cry, be emotional and sensitive in each and every episode of season 2. Continuing the love story of our main Lengqi CP-Bie as Fang Leng and Wang Peng as Xiao Qi, season 2 added two more couples for our entertainment, and their relationship dynamics were interesting to watch!
The relationships may have developed differently for the other couples, but their path to being together was also fun to watch. The supporting cast, like Shi Yi, the SML, and Fang Lie’s mother, also deserved credit for adding flavor to the story. Season 2: Romance is also a major factor for season 2, with which the comedy portion of the drama works very well. You’ll enjoy seeing the romance between the leads!
Negative: My Girlfriend Is Alien Season 2 may be flawless in terms of production value, but it falls short in terms of story depth and even plot freshness! In terms of plot, Season 2 repeats the major elements of Season 1! There isn’t much new in the season 2 plot. That will disappoint the die-hard fans of this Chinese drama, who were expecting newness in the plot.
The first half of the drama moved very well, but it started to lag in the second half and rushed to finish the story with some unclear cliffhangers.
Season 2 is also poorly written. In terms of subplots, which may have been good enough, in season 2 lots of sub plots didn’t work properly. That makes the drama lengthy to watch. Except for the lead actors, all the actors’ character development is weak. On that note, you can not connect with the new actors.
